Susanne Stadler is an architect and social entrepreneur passionate about shifting the perspective on aging. An important emphasis of her work is to provide sustainable design solutions for the complex needs of aging that allow people to age in place with safety and delight. She views every private home and every housing project as a ‘life span’ home that serves people of all ages and abilities.
She is the leader of the interdisciplinary forum, network and consultancy ‘At Home With Growing Older’, which she founded together with a social worker in 2009.
She regularly speaks and presents to a variety of audiences on such topics as ‘Designing Multi-Unit Housing For The Real 21st Century’ at Build Boston 2014 or ‘A Home For All Ages’ at the Avenidas Housing Conference in 2015.
Susanne Stadler holds an MBA and M. Arch from UC Berkeley.
